1. Solid hands-on experience in Installation, configuration and upgrade of
Informatica platform tools such as (he is looking for someone with at least
a few of the below)
a. Power center
b. Informatica BDE
c. Informatica Data quality
d. Informatica Metadata manager & Business Glossary
e. Proactive monitoring
2. Create/Configure Informatica server grids and application services
3. Participates in on-call support rotation
4. Experience setting up high availability, disaster recovery and security
management
5. Perform code migrations for all informatica internal tools
6. Ability to quickly understand existing ETL infrastructure and provide
build/operational support Install, Perform Hotfix upgrades and apply EBF's
in the current Informatica infrastructures
7. Work with different teams like DBA,Unix & Network to Troubleshoot and
resolve various Infrastructure issues related to Informatica.
8. Implementing back-up and restore procedures for the repositories
9. Experience with automating different admin tasks through UNIX Shell
scripts and command-line maps
10. Production Support, performance monitoring & backup and recovery
experience
11. Strong performance tuning and trouble shooting skills involving various
Informatica tools like BDE.PC etc
*Ideal candidate should have:*
· 3-5 years of experience with informatica
· experience with other ETL tools is a plus
*Candidate Education:*
· Required A Bachelor's Degree in
*Candidate Experience:*
· Required 5 years of experience in the development,
implementation, and maintenance of large-scale OLTP and DSS in a
client-server environment
· Preferred 2 years of experience in Healthcare
· Required 3 years of experience in J2EE and Web Service
· Required 5 years of experience in database design, development,
and normalization using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle DBMS
· Required 5 years of experience in both the use of structured and
object oriented systems analysis, design, development tools, and techniques
· Required 5 years of experience in SQL
· Required 3 years of experience in PL/SQL
· Preferred 3 years of experience in using XML
· Preferred 1 year of experience in Linux
