*Duration: 6 months* *Rates: $50/hr* *Visa: USC or GC or TN * Main responsibilities: • Under broad direction, assists in supervising other systems administrators and provides basic job training and guidance on a regular basis. • Applies change management processes to install and maintain the company's infrastructure systems by installing, tuning, and patching operating system and application software under established guidelines. • Assesses and resolves server and network issues via the Trouble Ticket process and utilizes appropriate vendor and site contacts as necessary. • Coordinates with the server architecture team and disseminates relevant information to the group. • Supervises others: allocates and monitors work; coordinates similar activities within a functional area. • Interprets and applies directions originating at a higher level. • Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. • Work with managed services provider to implement solutions. • May work currency project or business improvement projects • Help design and plan upgrades, and new solutions.
