Job Title:: UI *Front-End Web Developer* Location: Dallas, TX Duration: 06 MONTHS C2H (Must Be USC or GC or EAD'GC only) *Interview mode: Phone then Skype* Rates: *$48/hr(Max)* Need USC or GC or EAD'GC only *Job Description* We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design, usability, and programming. This position is a long-term contract position with an interest in converting to full-time employment, if that option becomes available. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX wireframes, demonstrating responsive design, to code that will produce visual elements for our public-facing digital experiences. You will work with UI/UX designers to bridge the gap between graphical design and the technical implementation within web, mobile, and email development teams. You will take an active role in defining how the presentation layer looks and works across multiple platforms and devices. *Responsibilities* •Develop new user-facing features for both web and native mobile applications •Build reusable code and libraries for future use •Grasp conceptual thoughts, visualize possible solutions, and implement concepts to deliver digital solutions •Provide input on design and usability based on experience •Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs •Integrate and optimize applications within existing architecture for speed and scalability •Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end •Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders of varying design and technical proficiency adhering to Agile development methodologies *Skills and Qualifications* •5-7 years of previous experience as a Front End Developer within an enterprise content management system environment •Demonstrated proficiency with web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 •Experienced in client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery •Front-end mobile application development working in a pair programming environment, familiarity with Ruby on Rails a plus •Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS •Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX •Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Photoshop is a plus. •Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them. •Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git •Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.
