*Position: Pega Tester* *Location: San Francisco, CA* *Duration: 6+ Months* The Pega PRPC Quality/Test Lead is responsible for estimating, planning, developing, maintaining, and executing test plans and test cases. This position requires leveraging an understanding of the application environment as well as requirements and specifications to ensure compliance with testing best practices and functional requirements. The position requires strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting and communications skills. The candidate must demonstrate ownership and follow-through in a fast paced, mission critical environment while working collaboratively with a wide range of technical and non-technical personnel. *Primary Responsibilities:* § Review documentation and work with business and technical team to determine testable requirements § Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. § Create and maintain test cases, defects in Jira. § Ability to prioritize and be responsible for the execution of project tasks in a high-pressure environment. § Must be able to work in a team environment § Working Knowledge of the system development lifecycle § Develop and actively participate in build test automation using Java and/or other technologies § Perform reviews of automation and application code § Should be able to think out of box and not only rely on acceptance criteria from business/leads § Proactive voice of QA in discussions with development, business analysis, systems analysis, and user acceptance testing. Able to state a position, defend it, while maintaining good relationships across the SDLC. § Constantly look for opportunities to improve testing processes § Establish testing standards and best practices *Required Qualifications:* § Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field § 5+ years of experience with software testing (integration, functional, regression). § Basic SQL knowledge § 5+ years QA experience, including analyzing BRDs/FSDs, writing and executing test scripts and cases, writing test plans, and defect management § 1+ years Pega experience in the healthcare/financial/banking domain § 1+ year of professional experience working in an agile/scrum methodology § 1+ years of professional experience with test automation tools and frameworks § Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel § Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. *Metavance BA* Metavance SME who is knowledgeable and has past experience in configuring Metavance Claims/Benefits tables. Subject matter expert who has past experience in working as a Metavance Configuration SME.
