Design, develop and test new embedded Hardwares for process control applications
•
Familiar with Saftey standards for Process Automation Industry, UL,
CSA, IEC/CISPR, CE
• Support and enhance existing embedded Hardware
• Apply established development processes and assist in process improvement
•
Analyze marketing and engineering requirements and develop design alternatives
• Generate complete and accurate user and design documentation
• Provide input to architecture and design reviews
• Provide input and evaluation of new technologies and products
• Keep current with embedded Hardware trends and share knowledge
•
Perform design verification & validations of products by oerforming
compliance testings
•
Contribute to the release of manufacturing technical data packages for
products & perform necessary documentation
• Bring a Self Starter, Highly Motivated Attitude to the role
* Specialized/Practical Knowledge Competency and Tool Experience:*
•
Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Electronics or Computer Engineering
or equivalent
•
6-8 yrs Board level development experience utilizing high speed
digital circuits and/or FPGAs is required
• Experience with board level and/or FPGA development process is required
• Experience with extended temperature design testing is desired
•
Experience with Hardware engineering processes and standards, and
product configuration management system is an asset
•
Experience with design capture tools (preferably Mentor Graphics) is required
•
Experience with signal integrity analysis tools and measurement is an asset
•
Experience with Hardware defect tracking tools and test methodologies
is an asset
• Experience with Hardware debugging tools -- analyzers, scopes, emulators
•
Experience with using diagnostics tools like Digital Analyzers,
Oscilloscopes, DVMs
•
Experience with writing test software in C and/or assembly language is a plus
• Experience with hardware descriptor languages such as VHDL is a plus
•
Exepreince in product complaice testings & familiarity with saftey and
product compliance standards UL, CSA, CE, IEC/CISPR/FCC standards for
Radiated immuniti
y/emission and enviromental test standards is addade advantage
•
Experience in certification support at TUV certification lab and need
candidate to support the testing, troubleshoot
EMC/EMI/Vibration/environmental testing.
Must understand and familiar with certification processes
