Roles and Responsibilities · Advise on security considerations in applications systems procurement or development, implementation, operation and maintenance, and disposal activities (i.e. life cycle management) · Assist in the determination of an appropriate level of security commensurate with the impact level. · Assist in the development and maintenance of system security plans , contingency plans and other security documentation for all systems under their responsibility · Participate in risk assessments to periodically re-evaluate sensitivity of the system, risks, and mitigation strategies. · Participate in self-assessment of system safeguards and program elements and in certification and accreditation of the system. · Notify the ISSM of any suspected incidents in a timely manner, and assist in the investigation of incidents, as necessary. · Oversee training, policies, and practices, including audits, to ensure systems are securely operated. · Document and communicate policies, queries, vulnerabilities, and current state of the system. · Implement and monitor information security requirements, policies, and compliance. · Provide security engineering and integration support involving a wide range of security issues such as architectures, electronic data traffic, and network access. · Use penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies; and information technology security research. · Conduct vulnerability scans and risk determination · Manage mitigation of discovered vulnerabilities · Member of Incident Response Team Required Education and Experience · Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and technical certifications or training, or work experience. · CISSP, Security+ or other security-related certifications · 5-8 Years of directly related experience in Information Assurance. · Have strong analysis, oral and written communication, and change management skills · Detail oriented, with strong follow-up skills to ensure completion of tasks (e.g., ability to track failed test cases and ensure that the technical resolution is completed and re-tested. · Be able to work with all levels of program and client project team members and establish and maintain a strong customer-focused working relationship · NIST 800 series of Special Publications, disaster/contingency planning, risk assessment, and the NIST Risk Management Framework. · Information security practices, networks, software, and hardware, computer programming, operating systems and computer desktop packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. · Security architecture and Event Log review Desired Education and Experience · RSA Archer Assessment and Authorization · DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides · Tenable SecurityCenter All candidates will not require sponsorship to work in the US. *Anchit Bajpai* *Technical Recruiter* 1 Point System LLC Unit 103, 206 N College St, Pineville, North Carolina, 28134 *P*: *803-792-4353* *E* : *anc...@1pointsys.com <anc...@1pointsys.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "USITCV" group.
