The IFSS Life Solution Center has an ongoing need of the following role/skill: *Role: SYSTEMS ANALYST * *SkillSet: Life - SA * *Deployment Skill: PHILIBERT APPLICATION SUPPORT* *Task Description* Looking for 2 Lead Java Developers with *Philibert application* experience and knowledge of Life Applications. Resources to perform in a lead role in a VB to J2EE conversion of a Life Application. *Specific skills* Websphere J2EE The Thick Client GUI and all the calculation engines are written in C++. The print engine and some mid-tier are in VB. *Knowledge* Life Insurance expertise is essential including knowledge of specific Life products. Also Philibert knowledge or similar illustration and/or calculation engine expertise. The Philibert software is an integral part of the Life business. The "ideal" candidate will have Life Illustration/Java/VB/C++/web experience, although the Life Illustration experience seems to be the most important. It appears that most people have an easier time learning a new programming language verses learning all the ins and outs to a Life Illustration for all the products we offer here *Responsibilities* Assist in converting current Philibert print and calculation engines from the current language to Websphere J2EE. Assistance would include helping with common development, participating in team meetings, providing expertise and knowledge in the area of Philibert (illustrations), J2EE, and testing of changes.
