Provide infrastructure and production support to financial reporting applications. The system includes Solaris, Linux, Oracle, Abinitio and web applications. • Assist in the execution of PDS valuation for financial reporting. • Carry a pager and respond to it in a timely manner. Provide off-hour support as needed. Strong UNIX knowledge. Experience in Linux and Solaris. • Working experience in UNIX shell and Perl scripting. • Knowledge of web services. HTTP, XML, Apache, JBoss, and Weblogic. • Sufficient knowledge of SQL commands. • Experience in system monitoring tools. • Develop and follow up Standard Operational Procedures. • Well developed written and verbal communication skills. • A team player. Need to work closely with other team members to provide around the clock operations support. • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems or 6 years + of IT related working experience. *In-depth knowledge in Oracle database and applications. * • Experience in system monitoring tools. • Experience in creating automation tools • Trouble ticket system, like Remedy.
