UNIX APPLICATION DEVELOPER LOCATION: MORRISTOWN, NJ BILL RATE: $42/HR (MAX) DURATION: 24 MONTHS Description: Client is currently seeking a Developer for a long term contract opportunity in the Morristown, NJ area. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Developer will be participating in the design, development and implementation of a platform that is designed to monitor the performance of enterprise / commercial IP-backbone networks. REQUIREMENTS - Excellent data analysis skill with the ability to pull metrics and data from various locations to incorporate into the design of the overall platform - Experience with Relational Databases (Oracle / SQL / Sybase) - Experience working in a UNIX environment (either UNIX, Linux or Solaris) - Experience with C Programming - Experience with PERL, Ksh and other UNIX Shell Scripting - At a minimum, a conceptual understanding of networking technologies with the ability to incorporate IP Protocols into an application design.
