Project Description: (What project will the contractor be working on?) Network security for VoIP expansion. Job Description: (What will the contractor do on that project?) Design and audit of network security for VoIP systems. Design and verify router ACLs, firewall rules, and other security measures to protect VoIP systems based on the required traffic flows in those systems. Provide input to test plans on features used for security. Should be capable of doing independent designs, with guidance from a team leader, which will be reviewed by team before deployment. Required skills: General knowledge of computer and network security. Knowledge of standard VoIP protocols and data flows (e.g. SIP, H.323, RTP, others). Experience with Cisco router and firewall ACLs and security controls at the VLAN and interface level. Desired skills: Design and testing experience related to security. Experience with security issues in large scale networks.
