Apply broad technical knowledge and skills to analyze, develop and implement
solutions for process improvements, trouble-shooting, production support and
new product development in assigned area. Participate in
design/analysis/implementation of new products or business initiatives.
Position requires 6 years of progressive experience; programming experience
in Developing Business Intelligence projects configuration and maintenance.
Use technical and business systems skills to design and implement ETL
processes. Develop, support, maintain data warehouse and data marts, will
apply extensive knowledge in developing collections tables, facts using ETL
architecture and application servers (specifically IBM DataStage) Unix and
Shell Scripts, SQL, PL/SQL (preferable UDB DB2) Transact SQL, UNIX Shell
Programming/Scripting; AIX UNIX, Rational tools such as: ClearCase,
ClearQuest, Shell Programming, Unix Scheduling/Autosys, IBM UDB/DB2.
-4-5 yrs extensive "hands-on" experience in using of
Datastage/ETL
-Experience across full life cycle application and systems
development
-Experience in building all basic routines, sequences, and
shell scripts.
-Strong SQL/PLSQL
-Design /develop Data Stage scheduler and error log
routines.
-Writing Technical Specifications
-Trouble shooting issues related to Datastage architecture,
Design and Development
-Unix scheduling and Autosys experience
-Customer-focused and works well in a team environment
-Proactive and self-managed to achieve results
-Demonstrate strong analytical/problem solving skills
-Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to write consistent, clear and accurate
documentation
