RIA Web Developer ( Flash/ActionScript ) Location: TX or GA
Duration: Long Term Rate: $40/hr CTC Phone screen to hire, with a possible F2F Interview' REQUIRED SKILLS: We are currently hiring a talented, RIA Web Developer (Flash/ Flex/ ActionScript). Location is preferred in Richardson, TX, but Atlanta is a 2nd choice if necessary. The candidate must be a first rate server-side Flash / ActionScript programmer with experience in a wide variety of web-based and networking technologies. The ideal candidate is goal-oriented, independent, thirsty for knowledge, and has the ability to handle interruptions while fluidly switching between several projects. Any experience in the telecomm industry is a plus. This is working in a cutting-edge environment on prototype products and strategic initiatives for a Fortune 100 client. I can certainly share more project detail when we speak. Our client would like to review resumes for experienced Web Developers that have full lifecycle experience with major, enterprise applications. The interviewing has begun and our client would like to review more resumes. This will be at least a 3 month contract with 3 month extensions ongoing with no set end date up to 2 years. They prefer this to make sure the consultant can perform and fit well with the group. Local candidates would be considered first as the manager prefers to conduct one in-person interview with the team, but will hire off a phone interview for this challenging skill set if you are not local. Daily activities include: * Designing end-to-end Flash-based streaming video applications. * Coding in ActionScript with Adobe development tools. * Coding in C# or C++ using Microsoft Development tools. * Writing technical specifications and test plans. * Excellent oral and written communication skills, attention to organization, and planning skills required. QUALIFICATIONS: ActionScript on the server-side 3+ years of experience with Flash Com Server Flash Media Server Flash Player TCP/IP Experience with Flash Remoting component development Flex is a plus!
