  Position: Senior BI / Datawarehouse Analyst
   
  This position will be responsible for working with business partners on a 
project basis to define project requirements and identify impacted business 
processes. The Senior Business Analyst will work closely with solution 
designers and data architects to ensure delivered systems meet business 
requirements. Senior analyst is expected to use industry standard approaches 
including use cases and business process modeling to define and manage 
requirements. Experience with Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing 
required.
   
    
   Participates in the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective 
solutions that support client business processes and functional requirements.   
   Documents and manages business and functional requirements for IT projects 
to define scope and success criteria.   
   Develops workflows, process models and gap analysis.   
   Applies methodologies/standards to requirements analysis.   
   Evaluates existing application products that could address client 
requirements and develops recommendations where appropriate.   
   Conducts and/or participates in the analysis of client business processes 
and functional requirements and in the preparation of appropriate documentation 
to communicate and validate the information.   
   Identifies overlaps and related processes.   
   Provides guidance and coordination to clients in the planning, marketing, 
training and operating of automated systems.   
   Provides product expertise to client groups, delivers presentations, 
demonstrations and training for application systems.   
   Coordinates installation and first-use of new applications.   
   Assists in developing test plans.   
   Follows Service Level Agreements.   
   Performs and evaluates risks.   
   Communicates and escalates issues.   
   May assist in the development of project plans.   
   May use the associated project planning tools.   
   Provides knowledge transfer as appropriate.   
   Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility 
(Kaiser Permanente''s Code of Conduct) by maintaining the privacy and 
confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, 
acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to 
applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and 
licenser requirements (if applicable), and Kaiser Permanente''s policies and 
procedures
