TEST ARCHITECT \ TEST DESIGNER*
The client is looking for an experienced Test Architect to join our team.
This role is a specialty within testing that requires proven experience
developing risk-based test approach (strategy) and leading multiple test
initiatives simultaneously. This position requires strong analytical skills
to determine where functional and performance weaknesses may exist in a
system to identify key areas of focus for testing and define our critical
success factors.
*Qualified candidates will have the following:*
** REQUIREMENT: 7+ years of experience as a Test Architect, Test Designer,
Test Analyst, or
Software Engineer with focus in both software and infrastructure projects.
* REQUIREMENT: Experience finding risks and exposure in a system design,
prior to development.
* REQUIREMENT: Experience describing test techniques that are appropriate
for key risks found in the design.
* REQUIREMENT: Experience developing test approach\strategy (functional and
performance) *
for several large projects with at least two of the following types of
technologies:
o Siebel CRM or other large scale COTS applications (e.g. SAP)
o Oracle SOA Suite
o Vitria BusinessWare
o VoIP (SIP and H.323)
o Genesys Voice Platform (VoiceXML for IVR automation)
o NICE Contact Center Applications
** REQUIREMENT: Two of these (in order of relevance):*
o Certifications such as CSTE, CSQA, CSPM, Six Sigma, or CQM
o Six Sigma, ITIL, or the Capability Maturity Model
o vb script, Java, or other scripting languages
o SQL
o Automated Test Lifecycle Methodology (ATLM)
o Rational Unified Process (RUP) or other Software Development Life cycles
(SDLC)
* Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
* Experience within the health care and or call center industries is a plus
*
Skills:*
* Diagnostic and problem solving skills
* Highly skilled at eliciting risks and documenting test strategy, test
plans, and test cases
* Organization, analysis, and facilitation skills
* Leadership - testing, programming, or software design team lead (highly
desirable)

simultaneously
* Excellent communication skills
* Flexibility with working hours as required, supporting system deployments

*WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?*
This position is for a Test Architect \ Test Designer that will design test
approaches for multiple software and infrastructure projects simultaneously.
This person will lead test efforts while initiating and participating in
process improvement projects. You will have the opportunity to work closely
with many teams within IT and the business, and need to have excellent
communication and organizational skills.
*Specific responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited
to:*
* Develop Test Strategy, Test Plans, and Test Cases:
o Identify high areas of risk within a system to determine
the critical success factors prior to receiving the system for testing.
o Identify and describe appropriate test techniques within
the Test Plan.
o Develop and summarize quantitative and qualitative analysis
of test results.
o Communicate with all levels of management and key
stakeholders regularly, not just through defect reports or numbers.
* Lead test initiatives and ensure execution of Test Plan
* Create and maintain a consistent certification methodology for all
initiatives
