SQL Lims Administrator Location: CA
Duration: 3+months Rate: Open ( DOE ) PS and F2F LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) is a software used specifically within the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology Industry. Qualifications The candidate must have a minimum of 4 years experience in the use and application of computer information technology in the area of LIMS and a strong working knowledge of Quality Assurance systems. A minimum of 2 years of experience with SQL*LIMS* as a System Administrator is a must. Position requires a minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related Scientific Degree. Knowledge of high level programming language with proven accomplishments in the area of LIMS, knowledge of Oracle* rules and stored procedures as they pertain to the area of LIMS, knowledge of cGMP**s and validation principles are required. Formal training in software development is desirable however a good working knowledge of scientific programming is mandatory whether obtained through formal training or otherwise. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including a demonstrated ability to participate in teams at all levels required. Strong GMP skills are required in all aspects of this position. Duties: - Oversee/Manage the work of external consultants to make sure that their tasks are being completed per the project timelines. - Oversee/Manage the change control process including, but not limited to, raising change requests, obtaining approval of change requests, close out of change requests, and obtaining signatures for affected documents. - Oversee/Manage/Approve code review and all testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and system acceptance testing. - Develop/troubleshoot LIMS reports written in Oracle Reports. - Develop/troubleshoot custom code written for SQL*LIMS. - Provide guidance to the team on technical tasks. - Participate in the global deployment of the Global LIMS system. - Limited domestic and international travel required.
