This individual is responsible for the development and execution of software test plans and procedures. Responsibilities: . Provides consultation and facilitation regarding software quality assurance procedures and testing methods to customers . Creates test plans, test scripts, and test conditions . Tests new programs, tools and techniques for acceptability, usability, functionality and makes recommendations as necessary . Conducts reviews to assess the degree to which application development projects achieve quality . Creates and maintains documentation for QA procedures . Assists with research to determine the use of new data processing methods, tools and techniques that can improve customer quality and productivity .
