Our client in Cherry Hill NJ is looking for an Application Architect to concurrently lead multiple systems development initiatives as an Architect for the Internet Applications Development Group. Candidate will contribute as a key technical lead focused on the requirements, application architecture, design, development, and implementation of complex, mission critical enterprise strength, scalable applications. The successful candidate must possess strong analytical skills, customer focus and in-depth technical architecture expertise in internet technologies including Web 2.0, SOA, Web Services, Messaging, J2EE, and web development frameworks (Hibernate, Spring, Struts) in a Linux/Windows environment. Work closely with project managers and technical teams and business owners identifying & documenting functional, technical, infrastructure and performance requirements in the design of new/enhanced systems. Lead and participate in evaluation of new products. Mentor developers on industry standards and best practices to improve their efficiency and effectiveness. Experience Required:- Must be proficient in the following areas: SOA, Web Services, Messaging, ESB, SOAP, XML Architecture frameworks, Spring, Hibernate Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technologies, Java Server Pages (JSP), JavaScript, Integration, WorkFlow, BPEL, Open Source technologies is a big plus. Must have solid RDBMS concepts and experience working in various databases. Experience with LDAP and identity manager is a must. Must Have Skills: Excellent verbal & written communication & presentation skills Analysis & Problem solving skills Nice to Have Skills Adobe FLEX & AJAX development at the presentation layer. Unified Modeling Language (UML) Object oriented analysis and design (OOAD) Rational Application Developer (RAD), WSAD or Eclipse Design Tools (Rational) Web Security (Authentication, Authorization, SSL Certificates) Multi-lingual Internationalization Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (RUP, Agile, etc) and integration best practices.
