Oracle 10g DBA who has experience in SQL Server DBA also
Details:
1. In-depth SQL performance tuning skills, with Oracle 9i and 10g.
- Extensive knowledge of oracle optimizer, usage of oracle dictionary
views,
- Expertise with influencing optimizer execution plans,
- Practical hands on experience with performance tuning.
- We need people who have experience supporting large databases (sizes
more than 3 TB.)
2. Experience setting-up and supporting multi-node 10g RAC clusters.
3. Experience setting-up RMAN and OEM/grid-control from scratch.
4. Good experience with PERL scripting
5. Experience using UNIX system utilities to diagnose problems outside of
Oracle.
6. Experience with tuning queries in SQL Server 2005.
7. Programming experience with PL/SQL and T-SQL.
