Duration: 6-12 months
The Testing Engineer is a member of the testing team with responsibilities
for segments of the planning, design, and execution of tests (i.e., user
acceptance testing, system, subsystem or interface testing). You will assist in
the design, analysis and implementation of testing solutions; participate in
client meetings; ensure that engagement work products and deliverables are of
the highest quality to ensure client satisfaction; present conclusions and
recommendations; and keep team members informed of project status.
Responsibiltiies:
• Work with client and Amdocs teams to deliver testing solutions.
• Deliver timely and quality services, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Be part of a team of several testing engineers, participate and contribute in
internal design review of testing materials; checking the test environment;
executing, tracking and reporting on the test execution; analyzing the results
and communicating status with the client.
Required Skills:
• TeraData Database knowledge
• ETL knowledge
• Informatica tool knowledge
• Very good knowledge in SQL and QSL plus.
• Very good knowledge in Unix and Unix shell.
• Past experience as Testing Engineer is a must
• In-depth knowledge of at least one Amdocs product (Ensemble, OMS, Enabler
AMSS, TLG, or Clarify CRM, Invoicing)
• 2-3 years UNIX experience required
• Experience with DB (Oracle, SQL Server); data modeling principles and
associated tools (SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD); test automation and performance tools
(WinRunner, LoadRunner, Precise); configuration control knowledge (Source Safe
principles); S/W architecture for web based and non-web based applications
(Client side, Tuxedo and Server side), knowledge of automated tools etc.
• 2-3 years demonstrated expertise in the successful delivery of testing
solutions for Telecom Billing and/or CRM solutions
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong customer facing skills, ability to influence and motivate clients and
employees, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work
independently
• Must be flexible to travel
• One of the following academic backgrounds:
o B.A. in Computer Science
o Engineer
o B.A. in any exact Science (with the following certification: ISE
Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
