A Websphere J2EE Application Server System administrator who performs the
installation, configuration and day-to-day tasks associated with ensuring
the smooth and efficient operation of a WebSphere runtime environment. This
Includes product installation, configuration and deployment of J2EE
applications, connecting to back-end resources and basic troubleshooting.
Self-sufficient and able to perform most of the tasks involved with limited
assistance from peers, product documentation and vendor support services.
Knowledge of Websphere V6.1 network deployment necessary. 4+ years of
experience in a large-scale, 24x7 Web environment. Also must be open to
working off-hours when required.
