Candidate MUST have public sector experience.
Qualified candidates must have deep prior experience with SAP ABAP IV Development and Programming, Object Oriented Design and Implementation, Dialog, BDC programming, as well as experience in developing function modules, Dynpros, BADIs, BAPIs and other technical objects. They should also have experience designing and managing a process and a team for developing and troubleshooting standard and custom technical objects.
The required knowledge and skills for the role are:
Responsibilities
Lead technical development team supporting development across all SAP modules and systems including the latest Netweaver, BW, Portal and ERP Suite installations
Manage, evaluate and mentor junior programmers, review quality and enforce quality standards
Design and develop complex technical solutions
Evaluate performance of technical object and tune objects for better performance
Keep abreast of new technology and educate/advise management and colleagues
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of ABAP development experience is required
Experience with Netweaver technologies, ABAP Objects, Dialog programming, BDC and WEB Dynpro development desirable
Candidate must have excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, ability to manage own time and ability to coordinate with the business systems analysts or other developers on projects
