Software Documentation Specialist Location: OK
Duration: 6months Rate: $30/hr Need only 36 months of US Experience The Software Documentation Specialist will primarily be involved in creating documentation related to the development of software applications. The individual will assist Project Manager, Business Analyst and Software Architect by capturing meeting minutes, technical requirements, and producing diagrams to document complex software applications, in compliance with established standards. MUST HAVE Experience: Minimum eight years work experience; preferably in any of the following IT, accounting human resources, logistics, etc. Detailed knowledge of respective organizational practices, procedures, policies, and methodologies pertaining to the management and administration of automated Government systems. Governmental procedures and policies and demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work independently or under general direction only. Minimum skills required: Software documentation, Technical Writing, Willing to travel (up to 30%). Desired: Exposure to software development methodologies, preferably Rational Unified Process (RUP). Creating Unified Modeling Language (UML) Diagrams. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project, and Lotus Notes. Some software programming exposure. - graphic design for Microsoft Power Point presentations, Adobe Professional or Web design. Previous government experience is a plus. Experience with Air Traffic or Aeronautical information a major plus.
