Position Title: Project Manager Location: New London, CT (Need locals for F2F intw) Start Date: ASAP Length: 5 months Plus Need a project manager with technical skills using Java and Oracle Leads and directs one or more project teams. Creates, reviews, evaluates project plans and objectives. Tracks and reports progress relative to time, budget, and demonstrated results. Negotiates with clients, colleagues and outside vendors. Communicates project status, milestones and issues to the project sponsors. Applies effective project management methodologies and control techniques. Keeps informed of Pfizer and PGRD business initiatives and advances in the IT field. Provides Project Management services. Examples typically include services in various combinations of the following: project initiation, efficiency review, life cycle management, resource management, risk management, change management, time and cost management analysis, major projects in applications, networks, operations, data warehousing, and software development; may require specialized skills in specific technologies Also need technical skills in Java and Oracle as Technical leadership is part of the job. Responsible for projects related to Electronic Trial Master File (eTMF - Eclipse and Elara). Also providing some technical work in documenting current applications and technologies. Other critical requirements: Communication, team work, customer relationship management. In resume, manager wants to see technical background and experience working on technical projects. Education: Would ideally prefer a Masters, but will accept Bachelors or equivalent.
