Position: Mainframe QA Tester Location:, IL
Duration: 1 year Rate: Open W2Only F2F Description: Someone who can lead at times, but who is also a "hands-on" tester. Someone who can come in and learn systems and then eventually move into a lead or coordinator type position. Ability to get things done, go to meetings, sit with other team leads and have the presence/comfort to do so. Naturally takes charge, coordinates, known as the expert, etc. Capable of reporting their own status and providing follow-up. Attention to detail, above and beyond, go getter, etc. Strong organizationally. Job Description: * Mainframe experience - JCL, CICS and IMS, File - Aid (3-4 years minimum) * Knowledge and/or exposure to health claims processing * Knowledge of testing tools (spufi, and test director) * Experience in quality assurance and testing methodologies * Knowledge and/or exposure to DB2, and SQL * Developing test plans and test cases * Experienced in data creation and data manipulation * Regression testing * Familiar with defect tracking tools Key skills: JCL, DB2, CICS, SQL, FileAid, Spufi, Test director and health claims processing Khan Technical Recruiter Limrah Systems, Inc.
