*Role:-* Patch Management Consultant *Location:-* CA *Duration:-6+ Months* * * *Responsibilities* - Responsible for prompt remediation of non-patch vulnerabilities as well as non-OS patch installations within the Wintel infrastructure. - Utilizes the Qualys vulnerability reports to work with GITO support groups and application support personnel to resolve non-patch vulnerabilities in a timely manner. These vulnerabilities could include issues such as default, unsecured software installations, web configuration changes, SQL configuration changes, etc - Works with GITO support groups and application support personnel to ensure that remediation efforts are properly implemented through DEV, TEST, QA, and Production infrastructure to minimize production outages that may result. - Updates Qualys when non-patch vulnerabilities are resolved. *Profile: *** · Configure and maintain Patch management tool Maintain operating procedures for patch management. · Work with application development staff and IT infrastructure teams to ensure proper deployment of vulnerability patches. · Ensure servers are on-line after patching. · Maintain patching 'exemption list', including requestor, reason, and duration of · excemption. · Ensure vulnerability patch deployment system is functioning optimally · Generate patching reports per the deployment tool. · Review monthly and emergency Microsoft security patches to verify criticality. · On-call rotation for vulnerability management. · Work with application development staff and IT infrastructure teams to ensure prompt deployment of non-patch vulnerability remedation efforts. · Work with application development staff and IT infrastructure teams to ensure prompt deployment of non-OS patches. *Technical Skills Required *** [Include languages, OS, Platform skills required] · 5 or more years of related experience · Thorough working knowledge of patching tools · Effective written and verbal communication skills · In-depth knowledge and experience operating in a multiple NT4 domain model · In-depth knowledge and experience operating in a Microsoft Active Directory domain model MCSE/MCSA, Server+, certifications preferred. · Knowledgeable of security vulnerability issues within Windows server environments. · Knowledgeable of industry best practices for patch and vulnerability management. · Working knowledge of Qualys is preferred. *Specific Technical skills* · In-depth knowledge and experience operating in a multiple NT4 domain model · In-depth knowledge and experience operating in a Microsoft Active Directory domain model -- Regards, Santosh (609)-945-3178 Ezen Computer Services Inc., --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "USITSOFT" group.
