*Position:* Java UI Lead Architect *Location:*Bay Area, CA *Duration:*3-6 months *Rates:*Open *(mid to senior engineers with 5 to 10 years experience)* We are looking for bright engineers from varied backgrounds including UI, Server Architecture, and Infrastructure Architecture!! The Software Engineer's responsibilities will include excellent analysis, deep problem-solving capabilities, strong initiative & communication skills, coding, testing, and release management. *Responsibilities:* Continuing Product Development of the SaaS modules – communicate with Customer Support & Professional Services to reproduce, understand & * troubleshoot* complex & escalated product defects, determine & document root cause for these defects, communicate & interact with core engineering team members to code and review a fix for these defects, release patch to Production Operations, react strongly, surely & quickly to product field escalations in a time-critical manner. - Provide & communicate updates on issues to Engineering Manager, Project Managers & other stakeholders on a* continual* basis. - Develop detailed Unit Tests for fixed solutions & Test Plans with QA wherever required. - Update Defect Tracking systems with latest progress on these issues. - Help provide critical feedback of technical deficiencies to core-engineering team to improve product quality. - Help keep up with Escalated SLA's - Work with a team to debug & troubleshoot rich user interfaces for enterprise class SaaS applications. - Understand & debug the technical aspects of AJAX/DHTML/JavaScript/Flex enabled web pages. - Work on Java and J2EE server-side aspects of development as needed. - Write quality, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code. - Drive for consistent user interaction by consolidating on common JavaScript and DHTML code. - Work directly with customers, sales, support and product management to help determine and solve the customer needs of our hosted human capital management software. *Experience:* - 5 -10 years of experience in software development, engineering, or related field - Good knowledge of Solaris, Windows, JVM, web and application servers (JBoss preferred) - *Expert* knowledge of Java, (XML, JDBC, JMS) - Strong knowledge of Design Patterns - Strong knowledge of HTTP, TCP/IP, network trouble-shooting tools (wireshark, etc) - Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax - *Nice to haves* – Adobe Flex/Flash, UI IDE's (Eclipse , Borland, IBM), Subversion *Skills:* - Hands-on experience in full software development cycle - High level of proficiency with JavaScript, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, XMLHttpRequest, XML, JSON. - High level of proficiency with Java and J2EE. - Experience with open-source AJAX/DHTML frameworks such as YUI, Script.aculo.us, and DWR. - Experience with Flash, Flex, SQL *is a plus*, but not required. - *Professional skills*: ability to work independently and with a team. - Able to understand and master new technologies quickly. - Ability to work independently and with teams (local & remote) - Strong focus on timeliness, progress and ability to generate results - Self-disciplined with strong attention to detail - Exceptional time management and organization - (*MUST HAVE*) - Proven ability to quickly understand and solve unique and undocumented programming problems - (*MUST HAVE*) - Deep Analytical & troubleshooting skills - (*MUST HAVE*) - Excellent *English* written and oral communication skills - (MUST HAVE) - Great initiative, Energetic and self-starting - Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form - *Please send me your consultant's updated resume* ** *Thanks !!!* * * *Ajay Tiwari / P-calyxsis Technology solution LLC* *Office -425-484-9307/[EMAIL PROTECTED] *www.p-calyxsis.com* --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "USITSOFT" group.
