Position: Sr. Data Warehouse Consultant with Sagent Exp Location: King of Prussia, PA Duration: 6 Months The Data Warehouse Consultant will work on projects that require close coordination with Business and Information Technology groups. Position supports overall development and service delivery projects reporting to the Sr. Manager of Business Intelligence Systems department. Duties include, but are not limited to: . Responsible for supporting the architecture and design of the data warehouse, data marts and BI reports which will support various data initiatives . Identify data warehousing issues and assist in their resolution . Review project work products, including project work plans, business activity and information models, test plans, content storage design, and application component design . Contributes to table and interface design and the development of logical and physical data model/database, ETL processes and population and tuning of databases/ETL processes/BI reports/queries while meeting business/user requirements . Facilitates requirements definition and contributes to documentation of project and system documentation . Code, test, implement, monitor ETL processes in our data warehouse environment . Provide infrastructure support for the BI/ETL environment . Research and analyze various data source systems, applications and perform data research/analysis . Provide project, system and other technical documentation as required . Provide off-hour support of BIS systems as necessary Required skills include, but are not limited to: . 2+ Sagent V 5.5.1, 4+ years ETL tools . 4-7+ years of IT experience in developing full lifecycle implementations, support, and upgrades. . Minimum of 5 years experience in the development and maintenance of data warehouse/data mart and BI reporting applications . 5+ years of Data Warehouse experience. . 5+ years of relational database experience (SQL, tuning, optimizer, relational concepts) . Strong Oracle and PL/SQL skills and relational database experience . Strong MS Windows OS knowledge .
