Here is the job description: Job Title: Information Security Specialist Location: Mclean, VA Duration: 6 Months Description: Conduct Security Risk Assessment for all initiative funded SDLC projects BTI: statement: Conduct security risk assessments for applications and infrastructure using Freddie Mac risk assessment methodology and processes. Work with the application development and business area teams to assist in designing security controls and assessing security controls against Freddie Mac security requirements. Write security risk assessment reports documenting the results of the risk assessment. skill: Mid-level (5-7 yrs) skills: Minimum 5 years of Information Security experience with minimum 3 in conducting security risk assessments and IT security audits at the application level in mid to large size organizations. Requires extensive knowledge of security standards (e.g. ISO 17799/27001) and best-practices. Network security experience is desirable. Need technical and business savvy. CISSP, CISA, CISM certifications are highly desirable.
