Applications Developer Location: CT
Duration: 3months Rate: $50/hr CTC Locals ONLY!!! PS then F2F Description: Banking Experience Is A Must!! * Develops and prepares Web and Application software/package solutions. These solutions involve evaluating Web and Application requirements and develop/integrate software applications to support those requirements. * Experience in all phases of application design and development. * Collaborative team environment, projects can encompass multiple developers working together on development effort. * Assists with the development of client/server application methodology and standards. * Involved with Data modeling and Database design. * Requires an in-depth knowledge of Web and Application development products (VB.Net, ASP.Net, Visual Studio.Net, etc), database design (SQL and Oracle), retrieval and reporting. * Provides technical support to projects deploying new / undocumented solutions, as required. * Knowledgeable in all aspects of system and interface development and knowledgeable in structured system methodology and procedures. * Research, evaluate and recommend alternative solutions for application development, integration and reporting. Must have current knowledge of commercial application development software packages. * Takes responsibility for managing "end to end" creation and delivery of deliverables. * Analyzes capabilities and trade-offs of various technologies, products, and policies. * Considers key Engineering design principles and policies (scalability, interoperability, etc.) when designing new solutions. * Develops application system specifications, develops, tests and implements effective, cost effective application solutions. * Frequent contact with internal WT staff, other information technology personnel and business unit clients for the purpose of evaluating and recommending application development, integration and reporting services or solutions. * Frequent contact with internal WT staff, other information technology personnel and business unit clients for the exchange of information and to assist WT staff in the delivery and support of web and application services. * Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing with internal technical staff, WT Management and vendors. * Must be proficient in project management, customer relationship and able to balance multiple project initiatives. * Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a large-scale multi-system, multi-user environment. * Requires a broad knowledge of systems analysis and application program development. * Requires leadership skills, excellent communication skills, analytical ability, strong judgment and the ability to work effectively with clients, WT and business unit management, staff and vendors.
