This is my direct client opening for *Business Analyst** - Austin,
Texas.*This is a long term contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE.
Primary Responsibilities:
A. Submit written status reports to DFPS Project Managers each
week. The status reports will reflect Contractor progress, issues, and
milestones achieved during the reporting period. Formal status meetings will
be conducted every two weeks or as otherwise determined by DFPS Management.
In addition, meetings will be scheduled by DFPS Management, or the
Contractor, as needed to report and discuss proposed actions and technical
directions;
B. Develop and document a conceptual system requirements document;
C. Develop and document a study with recommendations as to whether
the new system should be incorporated into an existing DFPS system or a new
stand-alone system.
Requirements:
Skills/Experience
8+ Years: Experience analyzing and evaluating business systems and user
needs to formulate solutions that address business requirements.
8+ Years: Experience preparing solution options that identifies risks.
8+ Years: Experience performing financial analyses
8+ Years: Experience documenting conceptual description(s) of user needs,
program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer
programs.

Experience working with the Department of Family and Protective
Service and/or knowledge of the technologies utilized by the Department
