ALL Candidates must have: **Embedded experience ** CAN experience is mandatory Here are the new details: Automated Test Development Lead DESCRIPTION: Client, along with an off-shore development team, is developing an automated test system to perform component-level ECU software testing, and eventually system-level testing. Activities for this position consist of development of requirements documentation, development of test hardware and software scheduling, and providing technical guidance to the offshore team. The test system is based on National Instruments products. - Will be creating test software to test embedded and desktop applications for engine control units. Will be in charge of coordinating efforts of others, scheduling projects according to deadlines, etc Acts in a lead capacity. Will also develop software to test the testing software for validation purposes. REQUIRED SKILLS: - CAN experience mandatory Demonstrated team leadership experience Significant experience in automated test design, hardware and software Proven software requirements definition, design, and documentation skills Good working knowledge of embedded software development/test Ability to evaluate advantages and disadvantages of design proposals and make recommendations based on that evaluation Lead, and participate in, project reviews Good verbal and written communication skills Strong problem solving skills Minimum 4 year Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with emphasis on vehicular software test applications 4-6 years of experience in the development and application of automated test systems, preferably in the heavy truck and/or automotive vehicle industries.
