Manages multiple projects, each of which would have subprojects with Project Managers assigned, or a single large and complex project. Has total accountability for project success, i.e., on time, within budget, and meeting requirements. Responsibilities also include cost management, potential for revenue growth and business development, as well as the ability to manage a recovery project. Responsible for mentoring project team members. Requires bachelors degree in project management, business or other related degree; MBA degree or equivalent preferred and 10 plus years of extensive related experience in project management or multiple IT roles. PMI-Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification preferred. Additional Job Description: Experience as a Product Manager and/or Program Manager. Will need some level of technology skills as well, as this person will be coordinating with Engineering teams. Will need skills in writing Use Cases and functional specs, cross-team collaboration skills, technology "evangelism", and driving a "field readiness" program for new technology initiatives.
