*Note: Candidates LOCAL to NJ who can attend F2F interview is required !* *SQL Server Developer/DBA Livingston, NJ 6 Months * *Required Skills: *• At least 5+ years of SQL Server 2000/2005 database development/some DBA experience is required. • Strong background in stored procedure and user defined function development, and SQL Server 2000/2005 Query optimizer. • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of relational databases and modeling techniques. • Proven understanding of the Microsoft SQL Server architecture and tools. • SQL Server Database/data access layer tuning and performance analysis; and SQL Server Index analysis and fine-tuning. • Strong knowledge of converting and migrating databases from 2000 to 2005 versions. • Requires a thorough knowledge of options and techniques for standardizing, data transfers and synchronization between multiple versions of large databases across many servers (DTS\SSIS & BCP) • Knowledge of stored procedures, analysis of search plans, and techniques to extract, transform and load data, for hundreds of files and layouts • Ability to work effectively as the primary data layer within a development group. • Monitoring and managing SQL Server databases • Must have strong communication skills and ability to solve problems quickly and clearly. • Document technical specifications. • Ability to work in a team environment
