Position: Oracle eBusiness Engineer Location:Washington,D.C Duration:2+ Months project Senior Oracle eBusiness Engineer Overall Experience 8 years total, 5+ years Oracle eBusiness experience Position Description The candidate will participate in a project to upgrade the Consolidated Financial System (CFS) to Oracle eBusiness 11.5.10. The consultant will participate in the development, testing, and deployment phases of the system lifecycle: Unit test and verify customizations/extensions on the new version Perform end-to-end unit testing of ARC processes on the new version Perform development associated with implementing the upgrade Assist test engineers in writing test cases Remediate defects found during testing; Assist as necessary during deployment of the solution. Experience Required in the following areas Oracle eBusiness Development AP, GL, OM, AR, INV, FA, PO, AP modules. Within these modules, the priority of skills is as follows: o OM, AR Since the CFS implementation is revenue-centric, these are most important. o PO, AP ARC internal staff is least experienced in these heavily used modules. o GL General accounting is germane to the operation of Oracle so this is the third priority. o Others Lowest priority. o Experience in Oracle iReceivables is desirable but not required. The technical skills required for this position are as follows: Experience of 5 yrs+ in Oracle E-Business Suite, and experience in Oracle Ver 11.5.10 Strong Technical experience of 5 Yrs + in SQL* Plus , PL/SQL, Reports & Forms Experience in Unix, Workflow Builder, XML, Java Excellent written and verbal communication skills Monthly Performance (List Tasks & Deliverables to be assigned) Assessment of extensions/customizations Modifications to extensions/customizations as necessary Unit test results document End-to-end test results document Weekly status report Deployment instructions for any modifications made Availability to work 10 hours of OT paid on a straight time basis each week Regards, Suzanne Smith Account Manager Data Group Inc.
