Just as a follow-up, the American Heritage Talking Dictionary on CD-ROM
contradicts the book version. It gives both pronunciations in the text,
wrong one first. The spoken pronunciation is, unfortunately, the wrong one.
Sadly, I suspect that many younger people, these days, regard their PC-based
talking dictionaries as the authoritative sources.
