I don't think anyone said pricing per 100 g isn't allowed. There is a
list of products which can be priced per 100 g in the 1999 Price
Marking Order. This, as I mentioned some months ago, is available
on-line at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si1999/19993042.htm
