Just found the following link: http://www.roads.detr.gov.uk/consult/singlev/02.htm Note the list os terms: 'kph' mean 'kilometres per hour'!!! In fact, it's not used in the document at all. There is a name given for responses (MAny Jutsun) but no e-mail address. Unfortunately, the document then says that the speedometer 'must be capable' of displaying mph.
