Thanks, John. 'GCE' was 'General Certificate of Education', 'O'-level
= 'Ordinary  level', sat at about age 15. GCE 'A'-levels were exams
taken at 17/18 prior to university entry.

It should be still available, but he claimed that no-one wanted
metrication. I'll look later for the original.
