As a result of the Mars Climate Observer loss, the NASA Inspector General
conducted a review of NASA's use of the metric system.

The concern of NASA's IG about NASA's "inconsistent" use of the metric
system might be a pressure point for the members of the USMA Listserv who
continue to push on NASA webmasters to incorporate more metric units into
their sites.
