Hey, I am not worth fighting over! I indeed agreed with Bill's assessment
of the responding person's reply (I know, that it sounds kind of awkward to
say the least). At the same time, this might show that 1. they might have a
set template for positive replies to new products, which they use; or 2. she
doesn't care much for metrication, or doesn't think it is that big of a
deal. At the same time, I agree, that she failed to recognise that this was
the only reason why I wrote to them. As I said, I will reply to her, and
try to emphasise the actual reason for my comment (the packaging, rather
than the product). But, since I am only on my 11th page of my international
law term paper, which is due at 7.00 on Friday and should be of "medium
length", I have to concentrate on that for a tad bit.
Cheers,
Nick

But I didn't say "explicit," Karl; I said "emphatic." There's a world of
difference.
Their reply shows that they didn't pay much attention to Nick's reference to
metric packaging. It seems to have gone completely over the head of the
person who wrote the response.
Moreover, Nick agrees with that assessment.
