To Jim Elwell You made a good point regarding your injection molds. But I have a basic question. Any government order will be future dated (ie) if an order has been made to go metric only in 1991, it should have taken effect only 2-3 years later. That means not only you should have been allowed to sell your injection molds worth over $200,000 (which you have already made), but also should have been allowed to produce similar molds for another 2-3 years. During this period, you could have slowly moved to metric. Only after this period, the law will take effect. Similarly the metric mandate by the congress will give a few years, and within this period, every company can go metric. Ofcourse some companies like Gillette will violate, but 95 % of the companies will do the switch over. This is my view of the Government Order. Do correct me if I am wrong.
