World's tinest gecko curls up on a
dime.

Beate Island, Dominican Republic - Two American
biologists have discovered the world's smallest know gecko - a lizard so tiny,
it can curl up comfortably on a dime...........
...... The Jaragua gecko measures only 1.6 cm
- a sliver more than half an inch - from the base of the
tale.
I wonder if the AP is doing more to enforce their
style guide, that is to leave metric measures in their place. I hope this
is a trend. It would be nice if they could drop the FFU all
together. But, this is better than nothing. The sliver more than a
half inch must be a big sliver. That's a whopping 3 mm difference.
The slivers I got in my skin were never more than a millimetre.
