Any sensible person can just ignore the unit price labels. Since all the
wines that are sold here are in multiples of 750 mL, the price comparison is
easy. And anyway, who shops for wine by price? Those who like wine will
buy by brand or taste.

When I go shopping, I never see anyone looking at those tags. What really
catches everyone's eye is the larger ticket that says BONUS CARD SPECIAL
Buy xxxx brand yyyy at 2 for 5.00 and save 2.49, blah, blah, blah. Compare
this price to zzzz brand, etc.

These bonus card tags usually cover up the shelf unit price tags, which are
not always updated, or the print is so small only a person with super vision
can read them. They may be more referred to in stores in poor
neighbourhoods, but not where I live.
