She (the Queen) really needs to address the metric issue
in her speech. This silliness of forbidding sizes other than the pint in
pubs and not allowing metric road signs needs to be addressed by someone of her
ranking.
BTW, what ever happened to the Austrian Metric

Gee! Why can't they also include the need to allow
metric sizes in the pubs and also to allow metric road signage?
Do any of the UK members on this list think it would be
worth contacting these people and bringing up the metric issue with
them?
The Queen's Speech should be used to announce the laws
needed to pave the way for a Euro referendum, say the Liberal Democrats.
The call came as the party outlined 39 bills it wants to see announced in
the speech, including decriminalising possession of cannabis and creating an
earmarked health tax.
