Can anyone explain what "guideway pitch" is?

Nobody has explained how a track with a width 2.8 m can have a guideway pitch of 4.4 m, 4.8 m or 5.1 m. I would expect the maximum of the pitch to be 2.8 m, which would be the case of the track being turned completely on its side.
