I hate to break this to you, but the letter m is both a unit and a prefix, so it's not as if there wouldn't be a precedent. Also, if we were to replace da, h and k, with D, H and K (as has often been recommended), K would be both a unit and a prefix. As prefixes are never used in isolation, there is never any ambiguity.
