This chain/rod/link/acre/foot stuff is really amusing. Excellent for the *HISTORY* books! Now, honestly, how useful would this stuff be in today's modern world???

If there is a HUGE lot to be divided up to large/medium farmers, darn it, divide it up ANYWAY it would be economically fit. So, forget about this binary division ......
