I bought two meter sticks from Office Depot here in LA last week. They weren't in stock, so the store had to order them in for me. I ordered them on Sunday, and they came in on Tuesday. Total cost for both was just over $5. (Office Depot is the only place I know of to get them here.)
I took the Plain End stick to work, and kept the Metal End stick at home - my wife liked that one best.
