Has anyone see the USA Today newspaper for 2003-11-20? In the money section (B), page 5B, the was a picture of an Iraqi oil pumping station. The caption reads:
Pumping oil: A worker walks by pressure gauges in an Iraqi oil field last month. Iraqi resistance has blown up thousands of miles of pipelines.
In the photo the number dial of a pressure gauge is plainly visible. The gauge goes from 0 to 600 in increments of 100. The units are not known. The needle is definitely pointing to 100.
Does anyone know anything about the oil industry to know what the units may be? I doubt kilopascals. I’m thinking it may be either bars or psi. But, I would sure be curious to find out if Iraqis oil industry is metric or FFU.
