If his Lotus was a 58 Elite, then I'm sure it probably used ifp.
If it was a brand new Elise...then probably not.

Same goes for the Mini....and a "Cosworth" isn't a type of car out of context like that. It could be anything from a Chevrolet Vega Cosworth to a Ralt RT-5 Cosworth to a Ford Focus RS Cosworth.

Guy needs to be more specific...regardless it's hardly a serious matter...old cars having ifp nuts and bolts. They're vintage pieces of British equipment, I wouldn't expect them to be metric
